American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week hospital-based imaging assignment in Tyler, TX.

Hospital-based Imaging MRI department
-
Day shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
13-week contract
-
Flexibility to work other shifts and/or at additional campuses as needed
-
PACS system used; experience as a PACS Superuser is expected
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent required
-
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
-
BLS certification required (AHA only)

Basic computer proficiency required

License required if applicable

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI procedures
-
Provide support to other imaging technologists and help facilitate efficient patient flow
-
Conduct basic MRI patient and employee screening
-
Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel
-
Participate in QA processes and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving
-
Ensure completed exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS, with ability to follow downtime procedures

Participate in ongoing education and stay current with technical advances within scope
