We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Planner Buyer, Production to join our clients Planning & Buying team. In this role, you will support production planning activities by coordinating material requirements, maintaining inventory levels, and partnering with manufacturing, planners, and suppliers to ensure production schedules are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchasing or planning experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Location: Foothill Ranch CA
Shift: 4:30AM to 1PM Monday - Friday
Pay: $27.00
Plan and procure material requirements for multiple eyewear product categories.
Support Production Planners in developing and executing production plans that maintain optimal inventory levels.
Coordinate material planning for new product launches to ensure timely availability.
Monitor supplier performance and identify situations requiring expedited orders to minimize production delays.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support production schedules and business objectives.
Maintain accurate planning and purchasing data within ERP systems.
Analyze inventory and material requirements to support continuous production.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 1 year of experience in production planning, purchasing, or materials planning.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Experience using SAP MM, PP, and/or BW.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve supply chain challenges.

Pay Details: $27.00 per hour
