Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OTR (Over-The-Road) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate a 26 or 28 ft box truck.
Responsibilities
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (non CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must have a valid medical card.
- Must provide a copy of your MVR (driving record).
- Proven experience in truck driving with knowledge of route driving and freight handling.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel long distances for extended periods.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per week
