Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Construction Safety Coordinator to champion safety excellence across our clients' construction projects. In this vital role, you will serve as the safety ambassador on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and fostering a culture of proactive risk management. Duties
- Implement and monitor our comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction sites, ensuring adherence to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards related to risk management, occupational health, and environmental health & safety (EHS).
- Lead safety orientations and toolbox talks for bilingual teams, emphasizing compliance management, hazard recognition, and safe work practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction management teams to integrate safety protocols into daily operations using construction management software.
- Investigate incidents or near-misses promptly; document findings thoroughly and recommend corrective actions aligned with workers' compensation policies.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with existing standards where applicable. We are primarily responsible for one trade group on a long-term, multi-contractor site, but we will collaborate with safety leaders from all trades and companies to provide a cohesive safety presence.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance documentation for audit readiness.
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, occupational health practices, OSHA regulations, and compliance management within the construction industry.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) is essential to effectively communicate safety procedures across diverse teams.
- Familiarity with construction site experience including hazard assessments, site inspections, and safety protocol enforcement.
- Knowledge of construction management software tools used for tracking safety metrics and reporting.
- Prior experience handling workers' compensation claims or related insurance processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead safety initiatives confidently in both languages while fostering teamwork and accountability.

Pay: $48,525.00 - $59,864.00 per year
