Clinical Leadership & Quality
- Provide oversight of clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Support peer review, privileging, and clinical governance processes
- Lead and mentor physicians and interdisciplinary clinical teams
Regulatory Compliance, Risk & Clinical Governance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee risk management, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives
- Support Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) compliance and clinical risk mitigation
Operational Partnership & Integrated Care
- Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy leaders to support integrated care delivery
- Evaluate clinical operations, workforce needs, access strategies, and service delivery models
- Support effective use of clinical technology and workflows to improve efficiency
Community & External Relationships
- Represent Valley-Wide with healthcare partners, community organizations, and regulatory agencies
- Serve as a clinical ambassador for the organization’s mission and commitment to underserved populations
- Strengthen partnerships that support access, quality, and long-term community health outcomes
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty required
- Substantial clinical and progressive leadership experience within healthcare environments
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels
- Experience leading physicians and interdisciplinary clinical teams
- Experience in community health, integrated care, rural healthcare, FQHC, or nonprofit healthcare settings preferred
