- Pay Range: up to $47.50 per hour depending on experience
WellTech Partners is partnering with a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Las Cruces, NM to find an experienced MDS RN Coordinator to join their nursing leadership team.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, the MDS RN Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure timely and accurate completion of MDS assessments in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior MDS/PDPM coordination experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulatory requirements (CMS, State survey standards)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills
- Current CPR certification preferred
- 2+ years of nursing experience in long-term care preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates the Medicare/MDS resident assessment process
- Ensures the Interdisciplinary Team completes MDS Assessments in a timely manner
- Coordinates development, implementation, and evaluation of residents' plans of care
- Ensures documentation is maintained in compliance with Federal and State regulations and facility policy
- Coordinates and participates in required meetings and in-services
- Supports resident care quality and regulatory compliance across the facility
