Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance about our products to enhance their shopping experience.
- Operate the register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and integrity. Be adaptable to learn changing guidelines for new customer events.
- Be able to absorb new information about our new products upon each release.
- Maintain stock levels on the sales floor by restocking merchandise and organizing displays to attract shoppers.
- Process retail transactions: credit card payments, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations, returns and exchanges.
- Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring the store remains clean and inviting
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
- Occasionally assist with the production of our social media content; Instagram and Tiktok.
- Occasionally assist with storewide inventory counts.
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices
- Skilled in product demos, upselling techniques, and engaging customers to maximize sales opportunities
- Excellent communication skills combined with friendly phone etiquette to foster positive interactions
