Job description: Position: School Portrait Photographer
The job: Regional school portrait photography company is seeking a school portrait photographer to work in metro Atlanta, North Georgia and Tennessee. (2-3 weeks photography in Tennessee schools is required.) Job type: This is a temporary school photographer position for the 2026-2027 school year.
Education requirement:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation: The salary is $200 per day with bonuses available to raise the total compensation to $250 per day if all the bonus criteria are met. The bonus is paid at the end of the school year.
Photographer will receive $.50 per mile from their home address to the schools. Professional skills: Must have strong professional photography skills.
Must be proficient in using Mac computers.
Must follow strict photography guidelines.
Must be able to work efficiently under tight class schedules.
Must pay close attention to details.
Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
Must work efficiently with our management and production teams and respond positively to feedback and adapt quickly to changes.
Must be a fast learner.
Personal characteristics:
Must be dependable.
Must have a positive, can-do attitude.
Must be patient.
Must be an outgoing, people person.
General Information: Prestige Digital Imaging provides all equipment. The photographer will be required to sign a list of the photography equipment received and its value. The photographer will be required to return all equipment at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
Must Have a dependable vehicle that is large enough for 30X40 frames.
Must be available to work 2-3 days per week as well as the 2-3 weeks in Tennessee.
The ideal candidate is a photographer that wants a job that allows them to spend the summer with their children or a photographer that wants supplemental income.
Must reside in north metro Atlanta.
Our lead production team member will determine which schools the photographer qualifies to receive the $50 bonus. Must complete our job application.
