Responsibilities
- Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring a tidy and inviting dining space for guests.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in basic cooking or plating duties.
- Support banquet and catering events by setting up service areas, bussing tables, and managing dishware.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and dining areas through regular sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
- Handle food handling responsibilities with care to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with servers, cooks, and management to deliver excellent hospitality service.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of bussing, cleaning, and food handling procedures within restaurant or hospitality settings.
- Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering events or banquet operations.
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks and assist in cooking when required.
- Familiarity with maintaining cleanliness standards in kitchens and dining rooms.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting restaurant operations.
- Prior experience in culinary or hospitality roles is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is valued!
- Good physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting dishes or supplies, and moving efficiently throughout shifts.
