American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including inpatient, outpatient, and adult ICU settings, for a 4x10 day shift contract.

Interventional Radiology unit at a 356-bed non-profit academic medical center providing tertiary care
-
Inpatient, outpatient, and adult ICU patient populations
-
Procedures include stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic, and upper/lower extremity studies
-
Equipment includes PACS, C-Arm, contrast injector systems (ACIST preferred), pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, and snare kits

EMR: Epic (required)

4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
Call is assigned an average of 10 days per month, including at least one weekend

No floating outside of scope

Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience

Current BLS and ARRT certification required
-
Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings required

Proficiency with PACS, C-Arm, contrast administration, and biopsies required

Experience with interventional tools including pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, and snare kits required

Epic EMR experience required

License required if applicable

2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
