Xiquet by Danny Lledó, Washington D.C.'s Michelin-starred destination for fine Valencian cuisine, is seeking an experienced and passionate Fine Dining Server/Dining Captain to join our acclaimed team. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience, showcasing traditional Spanish dishes with modern innovation. You will play a vital role in curating unforgettable moments for our guests through exemplary service and culinary knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests throughout their dining experience
- Guide guests through the menu, including wine and food pairings, enhancing their culinary journey
- Take and process orders accurately, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate service and manage guest expectations
- Uphold the restaurant's high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation

Qualifications:
- Coachable and Goal-Oriented.
- Extensive fine dining experience, ideally as a server or captain or strong desire to learn.
- Strong knowledge of wine and beverage service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
