Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Drivers to join our team. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their relocation needs, ensuring that their belongings are handled with care and transported safely. This position requires A CLASS C DRIVERS LICENSE, physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload items from trucks and other vehicles, ensuring safe handling of all belongings.
- Drive company vehicles to transport items to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items for customers, providing exceptional service throughout the moving process.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, both in the warehouse and during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address any questions or concerns regarding their move.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete moving tasks within scheduled timelines.
Skills
- Experience in driving, particularly with route driving and manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday.
- Previous experience as a van driver or courier is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Proficient in loading and unloading techniques to ensure the safety of items during transport.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
