American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Perioperative Circulator for an Adult Surgery OR unit in Oklahoma City, requiring at least 1 year of acute OR experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Located in an acute care hospital Adult Surgery operating room unit in Oklahoma City, OK

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

Minimum of 6 months Level 1 trauma experience required for this assignment

13-week contract

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license required
-
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute operating room environment

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
-
Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and perioperative nursing practices
-
CNOR certification preferred

Basic computer skills required

Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures

Responsible for direct and indirect provision of professional nursing care within the perioperative environment

Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery or procedure being performed

Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of perioperative care utilizing the nursing process

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply for a new contract

Compliance requirements (drug screen, background check, medical requirements) must be initiated immediately upon accepting an offer; non-compliance may result in cancellation
