Job Summary:
Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine in support of Customer and Engineering dimensional inspection needs. Perform production inspection routines and partial inspections as required from engineering and manufacturing. Correct dimensional deformities if possibly by reworking part with manual finishing tools. Analyze acquired data to understand and communicate overall casting dimensional quality as it relates to customer definition and requirements.

We are recruting for a CMM Inspector
Looking to fill any one of our shifts:
1st: (6:00am-2:30pm)
2nd: (2:00pm-10:30pm
3rd shift: (10:00pm-6:30am)
Training will be on 1st shift from 6:00am-2:30pm for 2 months

Experience You Bring To The Table:
- Interpret and summarize inspection data. Translate inspection data into Layout Inspection
- In-process inspection
- Evaluate sizes of indications to a known standard limit
- Hand finish casting surface to bring indications down to acceptable size using hand air tools
- Re-evaluate suspect indications areas for conformance
- Ability and willingness to work in other areas as needed. Ability to work in a team environment
- Other responsibilities as trained and assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to sit at desk for extended periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Read, Write and Speak English Fluently
- Conventional inspection experience (surface plate, optical comparator, radius gauges, etc.) and related techniques. Air Foil inspection experience a plus
- Two years CMM operator or programming experience. Air foil and layout experience preferred A plus not deal breaker
- Ability to work un-supervised
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Ability to work with hands
