We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide in-person behavioral services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. In this vital role, you will design, implement, and supervise individualized behavioral intervention plans that promote positive growth and development. Your expertise will directly impact clients’ lives by fostering meaningful progress through evidence-based practices rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, effective care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations, to identify behavioral strengths and challenges.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with client needs and goals.
- Collect and analyze data meticulously during therapy sessions to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Communicate regularly with clients’ families, caregivers, and educational teams to coordinate care strategies and provide guidance on behavior intervention techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support intake processes by conducting initial assessments and collaborating on treatment planning for new clients.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral psychological assessments, functional assessments, and behavior intervention strategies.
- Skilled in data collection methods, medical terminology, and maintaining detailed medical records in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
- Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting children with disabilities.
- Ability to perform behavioral health evaluations, conduct diagnostic assessments, and support clients through clinical supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family education.
