Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER)

Schedule: Full-Time | Evenings or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires a patient-focused professional who thrives under pressure and is passionate about delivering exceptional emergency care.
You will play a vital role in assessing, stabilizing, and treating patients with a wide range of urgent and acute conditions, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care while ensuring excellent customer service
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Develop and adjust care plans based on patient response and clinical findings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Interpret diagnostic tests to support clinical decision-making
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of clinical equipment
- Delegate and supervise support staff appropriately
- Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes
- Participate in infection control and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with training, mentoring, and development of staff or students
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (multi-state or state-specific as applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care Emergency Room experience required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 30 days
