Overview
Join our team as a Machine Operator and General Shop Help. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are at the forefront. You will be running a variety of machines while helping with various tasks around the shop. Whether you're experienced, or need a little guidance this is a great introductory role into the machining world.
Duties
- Operate a variety of manufacturing machinery including CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes, with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
- Assist with materials handling tasks such as loading/unloading raw materials and finished products using forklifts or hand tools.
- Support fabrication and assembly processes by using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Drive the company van for various tasks.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout production using detailed blueprints and manufacturing standards; document findings accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety protocols; assist with packaging, shipping preparations, and warehouse organization as needed.Experience
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; familiarity with machining operations is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, tooling setup, and materials handling equipment like forklifts is desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints confidently and understand technical drawings; basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
- Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers; understanding of GD&T principles is beneficial.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
