Inspired Movement Dance is looking for an organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team!
This is not a typical receptionist position. We are looking for someone who has both dance studio experience and strong administrative experience. The ideal candidate understands the pace of a busy dance studio and enjoys supporting dancers, families, teachers, and studio leadership behind the scenes.
Dance Experience is Required
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working in a dance studio as an office administrator, studio manager, front desk coordinator, competitive team coordinator, or similar position.
You should already understand many aspects of dance studio operations, including:
- Class schedules and enrollment
- Dance terminology and levels
- Recitals, performances, competitions, and costumes
- Communicating with dance families
- Working with dance instructors and directors
Administrative Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing emails, phone calls, and front desk communication
- Assisting with student registration and enrollment
- Tracking class rosters, waitlists, transfers, and drops
- Processing tuition and other studio payments
- Creating and sending parent communications
- Maintaining accurate student records
- Coordinating recital, competition, and event logistics
- Costume ordering, tracking, and distribution
- Creating schedules, spreadsheets, and organizational documents
- Updating website content and studio information
- Assisting with marketing materials and social media
- Supporting studio events and performances
- Other administrative and operational duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous dance studio administrative experience
- Experience with dance studio management software (Jackrabbit, DanceStudio-Pro, etc.)
- Strong computer skills (Google Workspace and Microsoft Office)
- Experience with spreadsheets and data tracking
- Experience coordinating events or performances
- Social media and marketing experience is a plus
Position Details
Part-time with the opportunity for additional hours during recital season, competitions, camps, and special events.
