Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Customer Service: Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, understand their dining preferences, provide menu recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns.

Order Taking: Accurately record guests' orders, special requests, and dietary restrictions. Ensure that orders are transmitted promptly to the kitchen staff.

Food and Beverage Service: Serve meals, beer and wine and other beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Provide recommendations for wine pairings or other beverage selections.

Table Maintenance: Set up tables and ensure they are properly arranged with utensils, glassware, and condiments. Clear and reset tables promptly after guests depart.
Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness standards in the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations. Adhere to health and safety regulations. -
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, hosts/hostesses, and other service personnel to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Upselling: Promote daily specials, add-on items, or special promotions to increase revenue and enhance the overall dining experience.

Must maintain strict confidentiality during and after employment.

Able to work holidays, weekends and evenings as needed.

Able to assists with Hotel and other Tribal events including setup, cleanup, etc.

Must maintain professional behavior with positive representation of the Tribe and Hotel while on and off the clock.

Payment Processing: Present bills to guests, accept payment, and provide accurate change. Process credit card transactions in compliance with established procedures.

Guest Satisfaction: Anticipate guests' needs, address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, and strive to exceed guest expectations.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or fine dining establishment.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including an understanding of wine and cocktail selections.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
-
Attention to detail and ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic math skills for order processing and payment handling.

Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Physical Demands
The Bartender / Barista / Server role can be physically demanding. It involves prolonged periods of standing and walking extensively throughout the shift. Bartender / Barista / Servers may lift and carry trays of food and beverages weighing up to 25 pounds. They may also bend, reach, and twist to perform various tasks, such as serving, clearing tables, and setting up the dining area. Good physical fitness and stamina are helpful to handle the demands of a busy dining environment. Bartender / Barista / Servers must also have the ability to work in a climate-controlled indoor setting or an outdoor patio setting and tolerate varying noise levels.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an Employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to work in an environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform job duties.
Other Information -
At times the Employee may need to enter the back of house of the Coyote Valley Casino. As such a gaming license may be needed including pre-employment drug testing (for illegal drugs) and a background investigation.
