What You’ll Do
Oversee and manage all aspects of the firm’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal industry regulations

Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to strengthen operational efficiency

Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements to guide leadership decision-making

Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights

Collaborate with attorneys, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate billing, payments, and trust accounting compliance

Leverage Litify and QuickBooks (QB) to manage financial data and create robust reporting systems

Maintain compliance with state bar rules, trust accounting (IOLTA) requirements, and other firm-specific financial obligations

What We’re Looking For
Law Firm Expertise: Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience in a law firm setting (required)

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Credentials: CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Litify, QuickBooks (QB), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools

Legal Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of trust accounting, client fund management, and bar compliance

Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners
