American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience, an active DC RN license, and NRP and AWHONN certifications.

Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant patients at 17+ weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions), and triage cases

Unit activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and vaginal and C-section deliveries
-
Common equipment includes fetal monitors; documentation via Cerner and Fetalink

Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week)

On-call requirement of one shift per week

9-week contract

Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses)

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS (AHA-issued only), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a U.S. hospital required

LDRP experience and labor with postpartum (PP) experience preferred

Valid U.S. SSN required

Two supervisor or manager references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
