Position Overview
Sells and promotes products and services to Home Builders, Architects, Remodelers, General Contractors, and Homeowners. Spends majority of their time in the field, calling on customers at their offices and at job sites to generate new business and retain existing accounts.
Essential Job Functions
· Prospects for new business through traditional grass root efforts, networking events, and job site visits
· Achieves individual sales goals, and maintains a high level of customer retention
· Determines customer needs and recommends products and solutions
· Works directly with builders, architects, and homeowners
· Responds quickly to client concerns and uses company resources to provide the appropriate solution
· Performs take offs to provide an accurate window and door quote
· Ability to work in a CRM system to manage all customer interactions ensuring proper follow up and communication
· Handles walk in customers in the showroom
Requirements
· Window and door knowledge very desirable
· “Hunter” mentality
· Goal Driven and used to be in a quota driven environment
· Self-starter with a strong attention to detail
· Initiative to identify and positively solve problems
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to multi-task
Other Skills/Abilities
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Familiarity with construction drawings a plus
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Positive attitude and team player
· Detail and service-oriented
· Work environment consists of office, in addition to customer sites and field conditions
