We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain our growing portfolio of properties.
Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks across our managed properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in general repairs, light plumbing, and carpentry. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing top-tier customer service to tenants and property owners.
Responsibilities:
-Perform general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to light plumbing, carpentry.
-Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, and structural elements of properties.
-Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
-Complete work for vacant units, including painting, minor repairs, and cleaning.
-Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
-Communicate effectively with tenants, property managers, and team members.
-Ensure all work is completed efficiently according to safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
-Experience in residential maintenance, property management maintenance is a plus
-Knowledge of light plumbing, and carpentry work.
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
-Good communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
-Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
-We require any of our vendors to carry Workers Comp Insurance or an exemption
-Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in property management maintenance.
Ability to use work order management software or apps.
