Job Description:
- Full-time-40 hours/week

- 100% Outpatient
Patient Population:
- Bariatric Surgical and Medical Weight Loss patients
Key Responsibilities:
- The outpatient Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for the comprehensive evaluation and management of patients pursuing surgical and medical weight loss treatment. This includes conducting detailed assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, managing obesity-related comorbidities, providing pre- and post-operative bariatric care, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting medications and therapies as appropriate.
- The APP collaborates closely with bariatric surgeons, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to promote successful weight management outcomes, optimize patient health, and ensure adherence to evidence-based bariatric care guidelines.
- 6 physicians in practice and 9 advanced practice providers
- Working directly with 6 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Required
- Must be an ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA
- Must have background in surgical management of patients
- Experience in both surgical and medical management of bariatric patients in the outpatient setting.
- No OR responsibilities
- No inpatient responsibilities
- Must be self-motivated and passionate about bariatric patients
