Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant/Housekeeping professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and presentable.
- Restock room amenities and supplies as needed to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to uphold health standards.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong custodial skills with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience in housekeeping management can be beneficial for career advancement opportunities.
- Reliability for scheduled shift is a MUST
- Available for daylight hours ( 8-4, and 9-5)
- Weekend availability required
