Job Overview
7-Eleven 39339 is looking to add a part time team member to help improve our service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, managing cash register operations, working on 7Now Delivery orders, preparing hot food, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.
Current schedule availability: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 2pm - 8pm; Saturday 4pm - 8pm; Sunday 3pm - 8pm
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate food ovens to prepare and serve a variety of hot food options.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Accept, prepare, and finalize 7Now delivery orders
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, and fuel pumps as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and inventory management.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist in managing stock levels and pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Previous 7-Eleven experience and knowledge with 7-Eleven systems preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for inventory management tasks.
- Leadership qualities or experience supervising team members is advantageous.
