American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pain Management position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring experience in pain procedures, pre-op, OR, and PACU settings.

Outpatient/clinic setting focused on chronic pain management

Pain procedure injections are typically performed in an OR setting
-
Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
-
4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
-
Weekend availability required

On-call requirement applies

Floating to other units or locations required

13-week contract

Active RN license in New Mexico or a compact state license
-
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Minimum 1 year of RN experience in pain management or a related specialty

Experience in pain procedures, pre-op, OR, and PACU required

BSN preferred
-
US Social Security Number required for consideration

Provides routine and complex nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation

Administers medications and treatments per protocol and monitors for side effects and effectiveness
-
Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families

Educates patients, family members, and caregivers and identifies appropriate resources
-
Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
