We are looking for a energetic Bilingual (English and Spanish) Medical Assistant

Assisting physician with patient exams and/or procedures when needed
IM injections
Assisting Physicians in office procedures
Great communications skills a must
Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST

Pay: From $16.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Greet patients, verify demographics and insurance information, and support an efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Prepare exam rooms and room patients, including obtaining vital signs, medication histories, allergies, and reason for visit.
- Document accurate clinical information in eClinicalWorks (eClinicalWorks/eCW).
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and routine in-office clinical tasks.
- Perform medication reconciliation and update patient records as directed.
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, prescription requests, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments.
- Communicate laboratory and imaging results to patients according to provider instructions.
- Respond to patient phone calls, portal messages, and clinical questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Support preventive care, chronic disease management, and quality-measure documentation.
- Maintain exam-room supplies, inventory, infection-control standards, and proper disposal of medical waste.
- Use office technology, digital communication tools, scanners, fax systems, and electronic workflows efficiently.
- Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in primary care or family medicine inFrisco/Carrollton
- Prior experience using eClinicalWorks/eCW EHR.
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning new healthcare technology.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
