Loyola Academy seeks a Full Time Theology Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading students in accordance with the principles of Jesuit education, the mission of Loyola Academy, the Profile of the Graduate at Graduation, and the Theology department curriculum.

Teaching five sections of Catholic Theology in a 1:1 technological, mission-driven, college-preparatory environment.

Modeling the "Graduate at Graduation" outcomes.

Continual growth through participation in departmental and school-wide professional learning.

Working collaboratively with departmental colleagues on the implementation and ongoing development of a backwards designed, academically challenging, and experientially relevant theology curriculum.

Participating in the ministerial, service, and extracurricular life of the students and the school.

Maintaining high professional standards consistent with Loyola's Faculty Field Guide, including keeping proper records and active communication with parents and school officials.

Participating in Loyola's faculty and staff mentoring and induction program.

Fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Credentials
-
Bachelor's Degree in Catholic Theology or related field
Preferred Credentials
-
Prior secondary education teaching experience and/or instructional training

Master's degree in Catholic Theology, Divinity, or related field

Prior demonstrated commitment to Jesuit education
Compensation based on Loyola Academy's Faculty pay scale - See attached
