The Member Service Representative is a front-line banking professional who serves as a trusted resource for Harborstone members. This role combines member service, account management, teller transactions, financial education, and product referrals to help individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals.

What You'll Do

Deliver exceptional service and create positive member experiences.

Open new accounts and assist with account maintenance.

Answer member questions in person, by phone, and through email.
-
Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.

Educate members on products, services, digital banking tools, and self-service options.

Identify opportunities to recommend solutions that fit members' financial needs.

Resolve member concerns and problems quickly and professionally.

Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance and confidentiality requirements.

Support branch operations and contribute to overall branch success.

Ideal Background
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
At least 1 year of customer service, retail, banking, or financial services experience.
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions.

Comfort using Microsoft Office and financial systems.
-
Ability to adapt, collaborate, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Considerations:

Must be able to effectively read, write, and listen as well as communicate verbally, electronically and in written form with employees, members, board members, vendors, and the general public as required.

May be asked to handle, move, and/or carry large boxes of supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.

May require stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for limited periods of time.

May require sitting and standing for long periods of time.
