Job Overview:
Nohokai Production Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laborer to join our operations team in Waipahu. This hands-on role supports a variety of tasks including driving, vehicle detailing, battery maintenance, and general custodial duties. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in their work, and delivers exceptional customer service. Occasional travel to neighbor islands may be required to support production logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and personnel
- Wash, polish, and detail vehicles including cars, trucks, and production equipment
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting workspaces
- Assist with car washes and routine vehicle upkeep
- Charge batteries and prepare equipment for daily use
- Interact with clients and team members in a professional, courteous manner
- Follow instructions and complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Support production logistics across various job sites, including neighbor island assignments
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Experience with custodial tasks and surface disinfecting
- Basic knowledge of vehicle care (buffing, tinting a plus)
- Safe driving record and ability to operate vehicles responsibly
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
