Full Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet guests courteously and take beverage orders in assigned casino areas

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards

Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times

Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, and comp transactions

Monitor guest consumption and notify management or security of potential issues

Maintain cleanliness of service areas, trays, and workstations

Comply with all Tribal, State, and Federal laws, including gaming and alcohol regulations

Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally

Work collaboratively with bartenders, supervisors, and casino staff

Follow all casino policies, safety procedures, and appearance standards

All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior experience as a beverage server or in a similar food and beverage role preferred

Must be at least the minimum age required to serve alcohol by Tribal and State law

Ability to obtain and maintain required alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to carry beverage trays weighing up to 25 pounds

Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting

Ability to work in a smoky, loud, and crowded casino environment

Work Schedule

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

Flexible scheduling, including late-night shifts

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior experience as a beverage server or in a similar food and beverage role preferred

Must be at least the minimum age required to serve alcohol by Tribal and State law

The Beverage Server provides promptingly, and professional beverage service to casino guests while maintaining compliance with all Tribal, Federal, and State regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages. This role is responsible for enhancing the guest experience by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced casino environment.
