Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lawn Care Advanced Specialist to join our team. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of lawns and gardens for our clients. You will start on a small crew, and this could turn into a route/crew lead position. This can be a full-time or a part-time position with opportunities to transition to full-time, potential for bonuses, and extensive career growth with the growth of the company.
Preferred but not mandatory, someone looking to transition to full time and grow within the company. A go getter, someone who takes pride in their work, and wants to not only better themselves, but better the company they work for, and the other employees around them as well. Someone looking for an opportunity to start early with a company, and work with them to grow and scale. Growing your own responsibilities and duties as well. Required Skills: Mowing and Trimming
You can expect a fast paced environment and being outside in multiple types of weather. We are looking for someone who has advanced lawn care skills, or someone who is willing and able to learn them. Along with having a strong work ethic, an eye for detail in the work they are doing, and someone that can move quickly.
Duties:
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, blowing and trimming
- Perform landscaping tasks such as mulch application and mulch/other removal
- Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from lawns and gardens, other spring and fall clean up duties.
- Prune trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques and practices
- Ability to operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Ability to perform/learn to perform maintanance on equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening and tree care
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Attention to detail to ensure precise lawn care procedures. This is key!
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within deadlines
