Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate daily operations, supervise crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction management and site supervision will drive efficiency, quality, and safety standards across all phases of the project. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software to track progress and deadlines
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to clarify project scope and identify potential issues early on
- Monitor daily site activities, enforce OSHA safety regulations, and conduct regular safety meetings to uphold a safe work environment
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and coordinating procurement using HeavyBid or similar estimating tools
- Oversee quality control processes by inspecting work for adherence to standards, schematics, and client requirements
- Coordinate with project managers on scheduling adjustments, resource allocation, and progress reporting
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and construction management software for documentation, communication, and project tracking
- Conduct site inspections with ohmmeters or other testing equipment to verify electrical systems meet specifications
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, permits, and contractual obligations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site supervision with strong management skills in heavy civil or infrastructure projects
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera
- Familiarity with contracts administration and construction estimating processes using HeavyBid or similar tools
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction sites
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and managing multiple teams simultaneously
- Supervising experience in pipeline projects or heavy civil construction is highly desirable
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively among teams and stakeholders
