Our RN's are integral to the care of our residents and, therefore, we want to hire the best. We provide skilled and long-term care for residents in our skilled nursing facility and are conveniently located in Seminole where we have been for over 50 years. We are deeply rooted in serving our community.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, develop, organize, implement evaluate and direct the Nursing Services Department according to federal, state, local and facility guidelines, as well as regulated programs and activities
- Physician’s orders
- Medication reviews
- In-services/Training
- Utilization review
- Physicians’ visits
- Infection control
- Assess the quality of care rendered
- Review, monitor, intervene and report complaints/grievances made by residents, families, etc.
- Recognize and respond to changes in residents’ conditions and document observations, interventions, and outcomes
- Perform emergency procedures such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and report accidents or incidents in a timely manner
- Participate as an abuse coordinator for facility
- Coordinate resident profile meetings weekly
- Review and revise nursing care plans on a regular basis within the guidelines of federal, state and facility regulations/policy
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Valid CPR Certification
- Ability to pass Level 2 background and drug screening
- Skilled Nursing experience preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility in work duties and schedule
- Ability to lift and move patients
