Your New Role
As a Renovation & Remodeling Electrician, you'll install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on existing residential and light commercial projects by:
- Installing new wiring, circuits, panels, and electrical equipment during renovation and remodeling projects
- Rewiring existing homes, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, tenant spaces, and other light commercial properties
- Troubleshooting and repairing existing electrical systems
- Installing lighting, receptacles, switches, ceiling fans, EV chargers, generators, and other electrical equipment
- Upgrading electrical panels and service equipment
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, renovation plans, and electrical drawings
- Identifying code deficiencies and recommending safe, effective solutions
- Coordinating with homeowners, contractors, project managers, and other trades to keep projects moving smoothly
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and local building codes
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of two (2) years of electrical experience in renovation, remodeling, or service work
- Experience working on existing residential and light commercial projects
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of residential and light commercial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, renovation plans, and electrical drawings
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Dependable, professional, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
