Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager - Construction and Remodeling to lead our construction operations with energy and vision. Duties
- Lead and manage end-to-end construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements; monitor progress continuously.
- Oversee financial management activities such as profit & loss analysis, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
- Drive business development efforts by cultivating client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and expanding project portfolios.
- Manage a diverse team of project managers, supervisors, engineers, and support staff; foster team development through coaching and mentorship.
- Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Utilize Excel data analysis for tracking project metrics, forecasting financial outcomes, and supporting data-driven decision making.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards across all projects.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning initiatives to align construction operations with overall business objectives.
- Promote a customer-centric approach by maintaining excellent communication with clients and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications
- Biligue- Spanish/ English
- Proven management experience within the construction industry or related fields with a strong track record of leading large-scale projects.
- Extensive financial management experience including profit & loss analysis and budget oversight.
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis for reporting, forecasting, and operational insights.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and strategic planning processes.
- Strong business management skills with a focus on operational excellence and process improvement.
- Exceptional team management capabilities with experience in developing high-performing teams through leadership and coaching.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, team members, and executive stakeholders.
- Background in customer service orientation with an emphasis on client satisfaction and relationship building.
- Data-driven decision-making skills supported by analytical tools and strategic insights.
- Knowledge of lean management practices to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
- Supervising experience in complex construction environments coupled with a focus on safety compliance.
- Business development experience to identify growth opportunities within the construction sector.

Pay: $80,614.45 - $82,000.00 per year
