HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for an established outpatient women’s health practice in the Greater Atlanta area.
This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive OB/GYN care across the lifespan, from preventive well-woman services and contraception counseling to prenatal, postpartum, and menopause care. You will practice with a high degree of clinical independence while collaborating with experienced physicians on complex cases.
Established outpatient women’s health practice
Broad gynecology, prenatal, and postpartum scope
Independent practice within the Nurse Practitioner’s training and licensure
Physician collaboration available for complex cases
In-office procedures and diagnostic services
Patient-centered, individualized care model
Opportunities for continued training and professional development
Conduct new-patient consultations, comprehensive histories, and problem-focused visits
Perform annual well-woman examinations and preventive screenings
Obtain and interpret Pap, HPV, STI, and other laboratory results
Order and interpret laboratory testing, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic studies
Develop evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans
Diagnose and manage common women’s health concerns, including:
Provide pregnancy confirmation and early-pregnancy management
Deliver prenatal education, postpartum care, and lactation support
Counsel patients regarding contraception, preventive health, and shared medical decisions
Coordinate referrals to maternal-fetal medicine, radiology, pelvic-floor therapy, behavioral health, and other specialties
Maintain complete and accurate EHR documentation and close charts within 24 hours
Support clinical quality measures, including screening intervals, prenatal testing, immunizations, and depression screening
Participate in team huddles, case reviews, and practice-improvement initiatives
Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include:
IUD insertion and removal
Nexplanon insertion and removal
Endometrial biopsy
Colposcopy
Simple wound care and suture removal
Training may be available for qualified candidates who need additional procedural experience.
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
Board-certified Nurse Practitioner
Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner certification strongly preferred
Active, unrestricted Georgia RN and APRN license
Current prescriptive authority and active DEA registration
At least five years of clinical or medical experience
Women’s health, gynecology, prenatal, or postpartum experience strongly preferred
Current BLS certification
NRP certification preferred for candidates providing obstetric care
Experience with IUD and contraceptive implant services, or willingness to train
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-education skills
Proficiency with electronic health records; Epic experience is preferred
