Voice and Piano Instructor Opportunity – Mondays
Are you a skilled voice teacher with a genuine passion for helping students grow? Providence School of Music—the largest music school in Providence, RI—is seeking an experienced voice/beginner piano instructor to teach on Mondays.
At Providence School of Music, we handle all the behind-the-scenes work—advertising, scheduling, billing, and student/family communication—so you can focus on what matters most: teaching music. Our full-time office staff manages the front desk, phone, text, and email, making life easier for our teachers.
Unlike many schools, PSM teachers do not teach makeup lessons and are paid for every student on their schedule, regardless of attendance. This ensures a consistent, predictable teaching day and respects your time as a professional.
With over 600 enrolled students, we offer steady, reliable work in a supportive and professional environment. While a college degree in music is encouraged, it’s not required. Some of our strongest teachers are seasoned performers with 10+ years of experience who connect well with children and bring energy, patience, and warmth into the studio.
What we’re looking for:
- A dedicated voice instructor available to teach a full day of lessons on Fridays
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love of teaching
- Ability to teach beginner piano (a big plus, but not required)
If this sounds like a great fit, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your resume along with a brief message describing your teaching and performance experience and why you’d be a great addition to our team.
