Primary requirement: Must be a parent of a child with emotional, behavioral, developmental or mental health needs.
Family Support Partner: This 35 hour per week position will require employees to manage a flexible working schedule.
- Help parents and guardians have a strong voice within the Children’s System of Care
- Provide direct advocacy for families by accompanying them at meetings, court hearings, school IEP’s, and team meetings as time allows.
- Support families as appropriate in collaboration with the Care Management Organization.
- Must have knowledge of child welfare, mental health, juvenile justice, and education systems.
- Maintain records as required/ some computer skills.
- Bi-lingual a must.
