Ergonomist / Injury Prevention Specialist (PT / PTA / OT / COTA / ATC)

ActionOnsite is a national injury prevention and ergonomics company dedicated to helping industrial athletes stay healthy, productive, and safe. We partner with leading manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, and production organizations to provide proactive injury prevention services, ergonomic assessments, OSHA first-aid support, and workplace wellness programs.
We are seeking a motivated clinician to support multiple Bay Area client locations through a combination of regularly scheduled onsite hours and additional coverage opportunities.
Schedule
This position provides a consistent part-time schedule across two Bay Area locations:
Fremont, CA
- 24 scheduled hours per week
San Jose, CA
- Approximately 17 scheduled hours per month
Total Scheduled Hours
- Approximately 113 scheduled hours per month
Responsibilities
- Provide early discomfort intervention and employee coaching
- Deliver OSHA first-aid level support within company guidelines
- Conduct ergonomic observations and workplace assessments
- Educate employees on body mechanics, movement strategies, and injury prevention
- Facilitate stretch and flex programs
- Perform job coaching and workstation evaluations
- Support employee wellness and proactive injury prevention initiatives
- Document services and communicate recommendations to site leadership
Qualifications
- Active PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or ATC license/certification
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in industrial environments
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Bay Area locations
- Ergonomics and injury prevention experience preferred
Preferred Experience
- Industrial ergonomics
- Occupational health
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments
- Functional movement and body mechanics coaching
- REBA, RULA, or ergonomic assessment experience
- OSHA first-aid programs

Required License/Certification
One of the following is required:
- Physical Therapist (PT)
- Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
