Data Center Safety Coordinator
Location: Abernathy, TX
Pay: $24–$25/hour

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Safety Coordinator to help maintain a safe, compliant, and productive work environment within a data center facility.
The ideal candidate will have experience in EHS, workplace safety, industrial safety, manufacturing, construction, or critical facilities and a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company EHS policies, and local safety requirements.
- Coordinate safety orientations and training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Monitor contractor safety and site compliance.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training documentation, and incident logs.
- Participate in Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and emergency preparedness activities.
- Monitor compliance with LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, hot work, and permit-required activities.
- Inspect safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, first aid kits, and emergency response equipment.
- Support hazardous waste management and chemical safety programs.
- Track safety metrics and prepare reports for management.
- Partner with operations, facilities, engineering, security, contractors, and vendors to promote a strong safety culture.
- Recommend improvements to safety procedures, policies, and training programs.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of workplace safety/EHS experience.
- Experience in a data center, manufacturing, industrial, construction, or critical-facility environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS practices.
- Experience with safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
