Positions summary
Serve as the public face of the MJCC by driving membership growth through community engagement, strategic partnerships, and outreach initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, synagogues, and community organizations; represent the MJCC at events throughout Memphis; and create opportunities for prospective members to experience MJCC programs, services, and facilities. This role focuses on increasing community awareness, attracting new members, strengthening member engagement, and fostering long-term relationships that support the MJCC's mission.
Full Time, 40+ hours Sunday through Thursday, Salaried, Exempt
Responsibilities
· Develop and implement strategic approaches to membership through community engagement, strategic partnerships, and outreach initiatives to ensure they are unique and/or competitive
· Develop new and expand existing relationships with organizations and businesses in the Jewish and greater community that will enhance membership and the visibility of programs
· Development and management of department budget
· Supervise staff and oversee training and development for front line staff
· Responsible for the day-to-day operations and functioning of the Member Services Desk
Skills and Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
· 3-5 years of management/supervisory experience
· Strong organizational skills
· Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
