Compassionate Group Home Caregiver – Part-Time or Full-Time
Now Hiring: Caregiver | 6:00 AM–10:00 AM Monday–Friday & Every Other Weekend 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and caring caregiver to join our group home team. Our home serves individuals with developmental disabilities who deserve to be treated with dignity, patience, kindness, and respect.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care and support
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living
- Safely operate a Hoyer lift and assist with transfers
- Prepare meals and assist with household tasks
- Support individuals with daily routines and personal choices
- Provide transportation and community support as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
- Read, write, and complete required documentation accurately on a daily basis
- Document services, activities, observations, and care provided
- Follow all care plans, policies, and procedures
- Treat every individual with dignity, patience, and respect
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM–10:00 AM
Every Other Weekend: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Requirements
- Must be compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be comfortable and experienced with a Hoyer lift
- Must be able to read and write and complete daily documentation
- Must be able to accurately document care and observations
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be willing to assist with personal care, meals, laundry, and light housekeeping
