Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician Assistant/Facility Support team member to join our dynamic veterinary facility. In this vital role, you will assist with animal care, facility maintenance, and support veterinary staff in delivering exceptional pet healthcare. The ideal candidate is energetic, eager to learn, and passionate about providing top-quality care for animals of all types.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinary technicians with animal handling, restraint, and basic clinical procedures.
- Help with animal intake, discharge, and pet care routines including monitoring health status
- Support facility operations by maintaining equipment, restocking supplies, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Support the maintenance of a clean, organized, and sterile environment following aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols
Skills
- Prior kennel experience or animal care background is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
