The Gold Leaf is hiring a General Manager to lead our licensed cannabis dispensary in Winnemucca. This is the top job in the building — you'll run the team, own the P&L levers, manage inventory, and keep us compliant with Nevada CCB regulations.
You'll have real autonomy. You'll also have real support: our Las Vegas leadership team partners with you on product mix, purchasing, and forecasting, so you're never guessing what to stock.
Cannabis experience is a plus. Strong retail management experience is what we're really after — we'll teach you the cannabis side.

What You'll Own
Your Team
· Hire, train, coach, and develop the dispensary staff
· Build schedules that match sales volume while controlling labor cost
· Manage performance, attendance, and accountability
· Set the tone: professional, positive, and results-focused
Inventory & Product
· Receive and verify cannabis deliveries; ensure accurate entry, storage, and labeling
· Track product movement, aging inventory, and fast/slow movers
· Partner with the Las Vegas team on product mix, purchasing, and demand forecasting
· Run inventory counts and reconciliations; prevent both stockouts and overstock
Store Performance
· Own daily operations — open to close
· Monitor sales, identify revenue and margin opportunities, and act on them
· Resolve customer issues and keep service standards high
· Enforce cash-handling and operational SOPs
· Report to Las Vegas leadership on performance, staffing, and inventory needs
Compliance
· Keep the store fully compliant with Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board regulations
· Maintain accurate inventory and operational records in Metrc
· Ensure every employee holds a current CCB agent registration card
· Lead audits, reconciliations, and regulatory inspections

What You Bring
Required
· 3+ years of management experience with direct reports
· Retail, restaurant, hospitality, or multi-employee operations background
· Proven experience building schedules and managing labor costs
· Strong inventory management and organizational skills
· Comfort with numbers — reading sales reports and acting on trends
· 21+ and able to obtain a Nevada CCB cannabis agent registration card
· Able to pass a background check
Preferred
· Cannabis dispensary or other regulated-industry management experience
· Experience with Metrc or similar seed-to-sale tracking systems
· Experience reporting to remote/corporate leadership
