Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any needs they may have.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, including setup and breakdown of events.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with retail math for processing payments accurately is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Ability to engage in sales techniques to promote menu items effectively.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are key attributes for success in this role.
