Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Location: Altadena, CA (VGO Location)
Schedule: Part-Time (2 Wednesdays and 2 Fridays per month)

We are looking for a skilled, tech-savvy, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team on a predictable, part-time basis. Our practice is uniquely situated in a beautiful, freestanding, and spacious state-of-the-art orthodontic office. Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Imaging: Comfortably take and interpret high-quality radiographs, specifically utilizing the iCat CBCT scanner.
- Laser Therapy: Perform Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR) and assist with or perform frenectomies using the Fotona laser system.
- Periodontal Therapy: Administer localized antimicrobial treatment (Arestin) as part of comprehensive periodontal scaling and root planing when clinically indicated.
- Practice Management: Seamlessly navigate patient charts, scheduling, and clinical documentation using CareStack PMS.
- Sterilization & Safety: Maintain impeccable infection control standards by managing the sterilization of your own clinical instruments and workspace.
- Patient Care: Deliver exceptional oral health education, cleanings, and supportive periodontal therapy to maintain our high standard of patient satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid State Dental Hygienist License.
- Active Professional Liability Insurance (malpractice insurance) required.
- Hands-on proficiency with CareStack PMS.
- Experience or certified proficiency with the Fotona Laser (LBR/frenectomies) and iCat CBCT imaging.
- Strong understanding of periodontal therapy protocols, including Arestin application.
- Meticulous attention to detail regarding instrument sterilization and OSHA compliance.
