Local family-owned wholesale company is looking for a great driver to join our team! Universal Window Coverings Inc. is an established business with over 35 years' experience in the Orlando area.
This is a full-time driver/delivery position. The ideal candidate is a dependable hard worker looking for a long-term position.

Full Time
Monday - Friday, schedule will vary.
Will be delivering merchandise throughout Florida and occasionally out of state.
Commercial license not required
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload finished products to customers.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Collect C.O.D. payment from customers.
- Comply with driving rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver truck into loading or unloading positions.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
- Help all warehouse personnel, if needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
- Must have some truck driving experience.
- Must have excellent driving background (pass MVR).
- Ability to deal directly with customers.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Routes are primarily intrastate within Florida, with occasional interstate.
- Ability to use required phone applications and technology.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting 70% of time.
- Employee will be driving for long periods of time
- Requires lifting of heavy materials up to 75 pounds.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Bilingual a plus but not required.
