Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Performs a broad range of tasks which includes handling the flow of day-to-day resident-related operations and participating in planning, implementing, and promoting of a 24-hour residential facility. *
Handles all phases of the resident admissions process and responsible for generating prospective children for admission. *
Participates in the development and execution of both short-term and long-term children coming into care to ensure Integrity Care's growth and profitability objectives and implements approved programs. *
Completes and submits resident's monthly reports by the fourth of each month. *
Assists in filling and scanning resident documents into the database. *
Responsible for being on available on-call for all admissions with approval from the executive director. *
Handles all communications with case managers, guardian ad litems (G.A.L.), attorney ad litems, and department of juvenile justice representatives (D.J.J.). *
Orders medication refills within 10 days of the last dose and documents orders and refills. *
Schedules and maintains all resident appointments and compliance with all medical appointments. *
Maintains an effective system of communication throughout the department. *
Reviews progress notes and addresses any issues or concerns. *
Reads and responds to all emails and messages within 1 business day. *
Checks work calendar for daily appointments. *
Enters all appointments, visits, activities, etc. in the work calendar. *
Submits absent beds to the child's CBC. *
Sends MARs to case managers and CBC contract supervisor monthly. *
Attends all staff meetings and trainings, supervisory of shift change, attending ESSA staffing, lead staff meetings. *
Audits runaway and incident reports to ensure proper procedures are followed and that all notifications are documented.
Responsible for submitting invoice spreadsheets monthly to the executive director.
Attends children staffings as needed.
Updates children's master roster.
Update required Licenses and annual renewals to maintain compliance. *
Performs other related duties as assigned. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and online client database software.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Two years’ experience in a youth setting, preferably at least one year in a community-based program. Experience working in an authoritative position dealing with the public for at least one year is preferred.
Specialized Training:
Nonviolent crisis prevention intervention training
Certificates and Licenses:
